On August 15, 1945, Japan accepted the terms of the Potsdam Declaration, officially bringing an end to World War II.
In honor of the 80th anniversary of this historic moment, the Suffolk County WWII & Military Museum will unveil and dedicate a “Man in the Arena” monument.
